Free COVID testing is available by walkup every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 to 4 pm at the Native American Health Center, inside the Barbara Lee Center for Health and Wellness at 2251 Bancroft Avenue, across from San Leandro High School. Patients will be asked to show proof of district affiliation with staff/student ID cards, or other student verification, to ensure testing is prioritized and widely available on a daily basis. The center is administering PCR tests, which offer highly accurate automated responses through COLOR within 48-72 hours. Children 12 years of age and under will need to have a parent present.
